         HYDE PARK Jr. SPARTANS 2012

1.)            When will practice begin and where will it be held?

                Speed and agility training will begin in June. The practice schedule will be on the website under calendar soon. Practices will be held at our home field located at Hales Franciscan High School, 4930 S. Cottage Grove Avenue.

2.             What does my registration fee include?

The registration fee covers the following: game uniforms, helmets, shoulder pads, chin straps, mouthpieces, game socks and an end of the year award. Equipment will have to be returned IMMEDIATELY UPON THE END OF THE SEASON!

3.)                  Why do I need to give a copy of my child’s birth certificate?

The Hyde Park Jr. Spartans are a part of the United Youth Football League. As such,    ALL participants MUST be certified in order to be in compliance with league rules! 

5.)          What equipment/supplies do I have to purchase?

      Football players will need cleats, a protective cup, and integrated practice pants. Integrated pants will be worn to practice and depending on the squad, during games. Other items such as arm pads, gloves, compression shirts and rib protectors are optional. 

                Game schedules are produced by the league, not Hyde Park Jr. Spartans. Typically schedules are released approximately two weeks prior to the first game, around the middle of August.
